Christian Peacemaker Teams Colombia and the Regional Corporation for the Defense of Human Rights (CREDHOS) have formalized their relationship this year, after 15 years of working alongside the social movement in Barrancabermeja. Founded in 1987 as one of the first Human Rights defence groups in the Magdalena Medio region, CREDHOS provides legal and social support for victims of human rights violations. They organize workshops and trainings in Human Rights to communities that live in a region that is profoundly affected by the armed, political, economic and social conflict of Colombia. Their work also involves investigating, documenting and reporting on Human Rights violations across the region.
